Today I chose:
Clear-headed · Focus · Steadfast
Every day, I work with three words.
One to see.
One to do.
One to own.
Together, they form my Present set for today.
Inbox open.
34 emails.
“URGENT” twice.
I felt it immediately.
That slight tightening.
The urge to tackle everything at once.
Not because I had to.
But because I could.
And there is the difference.
SEE — Clear-headed
“Urgent” is not a fact.
It is a label.
Someone else feels pressure.
That does not mean I have to take it on.
DO — Focus
What truly matters here?
One email called for attention.
The rest called for patience.
I chose one direction.
OWN — Steadfast
No speeding up.
No defending myself.
Simply staying with what is right.
The inbox did not empty by working harder.
It did by choosing clearly.
I chose differently.
That was enough.
This was my Present set for today.
No more was needed.
